A Devilish Comeback
The St Albert Oilers took a 3-0 lead but the home team Devils refused to give up. In one of the greatest comebacks in SAMHA history, the Blue Devils turned the game around in the second half and won 9-4. Owen's Goal-tending kept us in the game but eventually, the wall collapsed and the determined opposition kept finding the back of our net.
Another strong game by our top scorer Drew, who silenced the crowd after sliding hard into the boards late in the third. He was shaken up pretty bad but is ok. Overall the team made a lot of good plays and skated well. "I was really happy with Jesse." said Coach Frederickson "He worked hard on both ends of the ice and created some breakaways".
In spite of the score, it was a very close game and both teams should be happy with their performances. Owen won the Heart and Soul award for our player of the game.
